I can’t remember a time when there wasn’t a camera in my home.
Any time my sister or I even hinted at any interest in photography, it wasn’t long before we were given a roll of film or a new camera by our dad, or at least a tour of a family photo album from our mom.
My dad still takes photos, my sister takes photos, and… my mom looks at photos. So maybe the art comes down the paternal side. But it is safe to say that a love for photography runs in the blood.
When I first entered college I decided I wanted to study photography, before getting distracted with Art, English, Astronomy, and Anthropology as the ADD kicked in.
And while I took a good number of courses in photography before going on to Linguistics at UCSD, I never for a moment stopped taking pictures.
There is something magical and unparalleled about photography that always brings me back to the craft.
I have worked professionally, but I as it is not a career, I like to think of myself somewhere between amateur and a professional.

I am available for shoots with advance notice and I am happy to consider most sorts of projects.
My experience and expertise include product photography, portraits and models, events, urban, and travel photography.
